Our Precious Jewel!!

So Tuesday, Feb. 17 was our 20 week ultrasound! Can't believe I'm 1/2 way already! Nick and I were so excited to see our little baby and altho the stubborn little bugger was in a ball we were amazed at how big it is now! JR had it's legs up over it's head w/ it's hands behind it's back and it was playing w/ it's toes! Absolutely adorable! :) Also, when we were just looking around at different stuff the technician happened to be on the legs when all of a sudden JR kicked me just like a frog...major spring action! I didn't feel it so I was just glad to see it! We sure do have an active little baby tho...that's for sure! The heartbeat was a/b 169bpm b/c it was moving around so much! Right now JR weighs a/b 13 1/2 ounces and we couldn't get an exact measurement on length due to his/her position but we're thinking it's a big one!And the technician said that according to JR's measurements and everything I was prolly a/b 5 days further along but she didn't think they would change my due date so we will see! But I'm hoping for the end of June! :) When I get a chance to put my pics up you'll see how long the legs are...just like daddy!! :) It was so much fun to watch our little baby..I didn't want it to end, but it did last a/b 45 mins so that was nice! Now we'll just hafta wait a little bit longer to meet our precious jewel! (I sure do hope the 2nd 1/2 goes as fast as the 1st!)

Oh, Baby!

So it was Nick's turn for the flu this week! :( But thankfully his lasted less than 24 hrs and he was back to his good ol' self again! Yesterday was my 3rd doctor's appt! Everything is goin really good...the baby was doin summer-salts (sp?) when the nurse was trying to get the heartbeat! :) I thought that was so cute! 2 more weeks til our ultrasound! Even tho we're not finding out the sex of our baby I can't wait to see the little bugger again!! As for my most exciting news....(!!!!!!!)...I'm pretty positive I felt JR move today!! I'm hoping to feel it again so I'll know for sure but it was really amazing! Can't wait til JR starts kicking so I can really feel it!! :) Well now I am off to make dinner..Nick should be home soon!

Crazy Week

Is it really Friday already?! I don't know where this week went! Monday night I got sick with the flu...haven't had the flu like that since 10th grade and with being preggo on top of it all, it wasn't a very fun 24 hours..but thankfully it was ONLY 24 hours! :) Today tho is the first day I'm really feeling great again! Food is sounding better and better all over again! Which may or may not be a good thing! My hope is that at my next appt. my weight gain won't be too high so maybe having the flu will have paid off! Well as I said, this week sure flew by and before I know it the weekend will be gone too so I think I'm goin to go enjoy it!

Baby Kamps

Nick and I are expecting our first child on July 5, 2009! We are so very much excited for this little one to join our family! We found out we were expecting on our 4th anniversary of being together! :) It was a great day! We are not going to find out if our baby is a boy/girl...looking forward to the big suprise! At our first appointment we had an ultrasound and got see our little bugger! "JR" (that's what we call the baby) was swimming around and moving so much -- which I found very crazy that the baby was moving so much yet I had no idea!! "JR" even waved to us! It was so amazing! We have been very blessed by God in so many ways already and cannot wait to meet our greatest blessing of all!
